After spending a couple of hours familiarising myself with the range of features I feel the potential of this product to enhance teaching and learning is endless! You start by either deciding to join an existing ‘meeting’ or host your own ‘meeting’. Once you have entered a web-conference (from anywhere in the world) you can communicate via video, chat, emoticons, and voice/audio. In addition hosts can display desktops/presentations. It is possible for learners to host their own ‘class’ and invite peers from across the global.
One lesson learned from out staff development event is the need to consider the method of interaction to allow feedback and dicussion.
